What does a dream mean if taken on a scale of people’s life? Apparently, it means a lot; because people are used to hold on to their dreams, to protect them from the infringements of the other people, to strongly believe that without dreams their life will be ordinary and senseless.
Those people, who do not have any cherished dreams, even though they will never be able to make it come true, seem to be deprived of something special, just like those people, who lack a sense of humor. The thing is, our ability to dream plays an important role in our life: it helps us, gives moral support, helps to believe in ourselves and to go through the difficulties and offences.
As for me, I’ve always dreamt about the voyage around the world and many times before going to bed I have imagined myself on a huge cruise vessel full of large luxurious boutiques, night clubs and other entertainments. Just imagine marvelous sunset and tranquil ocean; you are sitting in the Jacuzzi with a glass of champagne and admiring the scenery! Although I realize that I am still far from my dream, I’m working hard to make it come true!
Every person has the right to dream, though these dreams may be absolutely illusive, because there is nothing plain and simple in this world and the life will be bright, multi-colored and vivid only when we let us believe in it and see how changeable
I had wished to have a chance to study at University of Education since I was a child and I am making every effort day by day just to achieve my dream . I want to become a primary teacher in the future , for I like working with kids,teaching them and helping them be good human beings. In addition , being a primary teacher is a quite easy and less busy , less stressful than any job else and I still can have good salary .Children begin to change cognitive thinking when they reach the age of 10 to 18 , but to have a good foundation of knowledge and morality, they have to be trained well since they were students at primary schools, and I really feel like being one of the helpers who can guide them to go on the right way. Helping people is one of my hobbies, especially children, so I am always willing to do it unconditionally .If I can become a teacher , it will be a great opportunity for me to help not just 1 but many people ,I can also get many respects from my pupils and their parents. At least , being remembered and respected is an expression showing that your effort has succeeded. I am trying my best to pursuit my dream ,most of the time I spend just on studying . I will turn 17 this September ,I hope 2 year later , I can be an University of Education- student and I really want , in more 5 or 6 years then , I will reach my dream to be a primary teacher.

For a few years I have been thinking about a job, which I would like to have in the future. One of the proposals is a job of a dressmaker. In this dissertation I am going to enunciate pluses and minuses of this profession. First of all, in order to become a dressmaker it is necessary to graduate from high school in this profile and pass a professional exam. Then it is possible to get the rank of the journeyman or the champion. Afterwords, it is worth attending courses and institutes so as to develop tailor’s abilities. Trainees get to know new methods of the sewing and modern stitches. How to become a good dressmaker? Women who want to do this job should be very accurate and creative. They must be open to offers of customers. Women ought to know a lot about fashion and offer good advice. Every dressmaker should be also patient. What are advantages and disadvantages of this profession? This job is creative and helps to develop imagination. On the other hand, it is monotonous. Although this work isn’t time-consuming and is not a rat race, it may contribute to some health complaints. Through the long-standing work it is possible to damage the spine or the eyesight. However, a sewer can get hurt every day. This job develops interests and passions. But the disadvantage is that it requires constant, supplementary courses. The decent dressmaker should use sewing machines of the best quality, different lengths of needles, as well as colour threads. Also, other important tools include: a measure, a chalk or soap and a pillow for needles. How much does a dressmaker earn? In a private institution the payment amounts from 1200 to 1500 PLN. However, in a bigger enterprise, possibilities are greater and they earn there about 2000PLN. When I was a small girl I created a lot of cloths for my dolls. My mother often helped me with them.
