Fiona is my neighbor. She turned twelve recently and her parents held a birthday party for her. I was one of those invited.
The party began at about three in the afternoon. There were about twenty of us children gathered in Fiona's house. We were all dressed in our best clothes. Everyone, especially Fiona, wore a happy smile.
We gave our presents to Fiona and she happily opened them. It must really be exciting to receive all those presents.
After that Fiona's mother served us soft drinks and delicious tidbits. We then played some games "Musical Chairs" and "Treasure Hunt". The winners were given prizes.
At about four-thirty Fiona's mother brought out the birthday cake. It was beautifully decorated with pink and white icing. Twelve colorful candles sat in the middle of the cake. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Fiona after which she blew out the candles and cut the cake. We clapped out hands eagerly.
We helped ourselves to slices of the delicious cake. Then we continued our games.
Finally at about six in the evening the party came to an end. We were all tired but happy. The parents of the other children came to collect them. I helped Fiona and her mother clean up the mess we made. After that I walked home which was only two doors away.
Today, I am 16 years old, so I hold a birthday party at my house. The party began at 7h p.m and finished at 9h30 p.m on October 15th. I invited a lot of close friends ad intimate friends take part in the party. There is a two layer birthday cake with fifteen candles on the table. After people sang “Happy Birthday” song, I blew out the candles and cut the cake. Everybody ate cake, went to KTV and played mini games together. Finally, my friends returned their home, although they all tired, they felt so happy. Regarding me, I cleaned and washed up the party, then I went to sleep.

After that, we turned on vibrant music and enjoy ourselves at the party. The exciting atmosphere really made us satisfied and contented. After having a good time at the party, we realised it was 10 o'clock and had to return home.

My younger sister's birthday came off on last Sunday, the day on which she turned fifteen. She invited a large number of guests including relatives and friends. My whole family were all busy making preparations for the feast. The party took place outside for all the guests to enjoy fresh air in the evening. The surrounding is covered with plenty of colorful balloons and flashing lights. From 6 p.m the guests began to arrive one by one because the party was to start at 7 p.m. Our family warmly welcomed them at the gate of the house. At exact seven, all people present gathered around the table to sing the chorus"Happy birthday to you" and clap hands. After that my younger sister began to blow out all the candles on the cake. It was a great chocolate birthday cake tastefully decorated with colorful candies and cream. All the guests were served with various candies, biscuits, fruits, cakes, beverages,... The party was full of rejoicement and pleasure with laughters all the time. She received so many meaningful birthday presents that she bursted into tears. After finishing the party, the guests said goodbye to us and returned home. Our family began to clean up and soon got to sleep. It was a hardship day but full of cheerfulness and meaning.
As you know, birthday is one of the most important days with anyone and so invited to someone's birthday party makes me very happy. Last week, my best frends Quan invited me to his birthday party and he said he would be very happy if I could come. Therefore, I come to his party and bing a gift, in my opinion, gift is very important and show how friendly you are to your friends. The party was wonderful and unforgertable, all Quan's and his relatives came and enjoyed the party together, we also gave Quan the best wishes for him. Sinh nhật là dịp của đoàn tụ và hạnh phúc. Đây là dịp thích hợp để để hiện tình thương yêu với người mà mình yêu thương. Sinh nhật của em gái mình là vào chủ nhật tuần trước, hôm ấy vừa tròn 15 tuổi. Bữa tiệc tràn đầy sự hứng khởi và niềm vui và đầy tiếng cười cả buổi. Em ấy được nhận rất nhiều món quà ý nghĩa đến nỗi đã bật khóc vì hạnh phúc. Sau khi bữa tiệc kết thúc, khách nói lời tạm biệt và ra về. Gia đình mình bắt đầu dọn dẹp và nhanh chóng đi ngủ. Đó là 1 ngày vất vả nhưng tràn đầy niềm vui và ý nghĩa.
