pride myself . ( 1 ) ... the fact that I read two or three books a week . At this rate I'll be familiar ( 2 ) every book in our local library soon blame TV ( 3 ) the way people don't seem to read as much as they used to ( 4 ) my way of thinking , TV is responsible ( 5 ) any ills in our society . I wonder ( 6 ) the amount of TV watched by my sister's children . I have wamed her ( 7 ) the dangers of this ut all ( 8 ) vain . She refused to get involved ( 9 ) a discussion ( 10 ) the subject one time I used to watch a fair amount of TV but restricted myself ( 12 ) particular programs such as documentaries and an ccasional good film However , I soon grew tired ( 13 ) even this I was indifferent ( 14 ) many of the topics in the documentaries nd there is always something missing ( 15 ) films or TV plays which are based on the stories in books However good the film may e , it is no substitute ( 16 ) the original stories At last I think I am beginning to convince my sister ( 17 ) the bad effect of TV ( 18 ) her children . She has agreed to my suggestion of selective viewing and ( 19 ) the beginning of each week her family agrees in which programs they want to watch and the TV is only turned on ( 20 ) those times It's taken a long time to get her to agree with e but I'm sure the schoolwork of my nephews and niece will benefit as a result
