Spring is the start of a new year, and it’s also my favorite season.
Spring starts in January and ends in March. In spring, the trees begin to sprout. The flowers in the garden also began to bloom. I love to see the peach blossom in bloom, they act as a sign of Tet. Fluttering butterflies make the garden even more beautiful. The chirping of birds is very funny. Spring weather will be cold, morning has drizzle rain. At noon, there are warm rays of sunshine. The sky is more open, the air is very comfortable.
Spring is also the season of the festival. There are many traditional festivals held during this time. The most especially is Tet. This is a traditional festival in Vietnam. Tet usually takes place in 1 week but It is carefully prepared by people very early. I am looking forward to the Lunar New Year because I will receive the lucky money. I love Tet and spring a lot

Spring is a joyful season, and it is the beginning of a whole new year. Most countries start their new years in spring, so spring can also be considered as a season of festivals. For example, we have our traditional new year event which is usually located on February – Tet holiday. This is the biggest occasion of the year, and people are all happy about it. Other countries’ new years also start around this time, so everyone can share the same excitement. The weather is mild and fresh, the flowers are starting to bloom, the leaves are greener than ever, and the best thing is that we can have a small break from work and school to enjoy these days. People stop their regular activities to get out of their houses and admire the beauty of spring. In the South of Vietnam, the yellow color of apricot blossoms appears everywhere from people’s yards to the main roads. Other flowers that people enjoy to buy these days such as daisy and marigold are also yellow, so it can be said that this color is the main theme of the South in spring days. On the other hand, the pink color of cherry blossom rules the season in the North of Vietnam. People plant it, sell it, and carry it everywhere on the roads. Besides those main flowers, people love to have many other colorful one to be put on the tables and altars. Spring is also a season for us to enjoy some of the best dishes that we rarely have during the year, and people seem to be more lovable and easier than other times. Spring is a season of happiness, and it can be considered as the favorite one for most people.

There are 4 main seasons in the year, and winter is one of them with the coldest weather of the year. Winter in the Northern parts of Vietnam usually lasts about three months from November to February in the next year. There are many reasons why winter is my favorite time of the year as below. Winter is also the time of fruits, many fruits such as guava and oranges as well as many vegetables become available during winter time. If the bad weather in cold days is forcing you to spend the day indoors, there is plenty of time to bake a fruitcake or experiment with the abundance of popular seasonal recipes on the internet. Most schools take a short break during this period. While summer break does involve a long vacation from school, but for the most part, these weeks of summer are for making money and gaining experience in order to succeed in the future. Winter break is the time of relaxing, the stress of school is off for a while, and you can take some time for yourself. Other than that, during winter break Vietnamese people celebrate Lunar New Year – the biggest holiday during the year. Everybody goes back to the hometown to gather and celebrate with their families. All in all, winter is my favorite time of the year when I can spend more time with my family and for myself as well.
