The school education system in Vietnam and England have some points in common. Still there are remarkable differences to noe. Regarding pre-school education, there is no differences. Both countries divide this level into two sub-levels with the age starting from 3 to 5. However, there is a big difference between the system of the two countries at primary level. While England divides this level into two sub-levels with three grades each, Vietnam makes it one level with five grades. With respect to secondary education, England have six grades compared with seven grades of that of Vietnam. And another remarkable difference is that the age of this level ranging from 11 to 16 for English students; whereas, the age for Vietnamese students is from 11 to 17. Nevertheless, after finishing the curriculum, students of the two countries all need to sit for the examination for the GCSE. In conclusion, though there are differences between the school education system in Vietnam and England, the knowledge of the students may remain the same.
